The F1 error code indicates an overcurrent condition or compressor protection issue in your Rinnai air conditioner. This means the compressor motor has either failed to start or is drawing too much current.
The compressor motor may be drawing too much current due to a malfunction.
Short circuits or wiring problems may trigger the overcurrent protection.
Blockages in the refrigerant lines can cause the compressor to overheat and trip the protection mechanism.
Turn off the system for 5–10 minutes and then turn it back on to reset the overcurrent protection.
Inspect the refrigerant lines for blockages.
If the compressor motor is faulty, it may need to be replaced.
