Common Causes of the A0 Error Code

Power Supply Issues

If the system experiences voltage fluctuations or power surges, external protection devices may activate as a safeguard.

External Interference

Devices like circuit breakers, surge protectors, or additional safety relays connected to the system may be causing a fault.

Wiring or Connection Faults

Loose or damaged wiring between the indoor and outdoor units can trigger the A0 error.

External Safety Device Activation

If the air conditioning system is linked to an external safety device (such as a fire alarm or pressure switch), an activation from that device may cause the system to shut down.

PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Malfunction

In rare cases, a fault in the control board can incorrectly trigger the external protection mechanism.

Recommended Solutions

Power Cycle the System

Turn off the air conditioner at the main power switch, wait 5–10 minutes, and then turn it back on. This can reset the system and clear minor electrical issues.

Check the Power Supply

Ensure that your unit is receiving a stable power supply and that no external power protection devices (such as surge protectors) are interfering.

Inspect External Safety Devices

If your AC is connected to external safety equipment, verify that they are functioning correctly and have not been triggered.

Examine Wiring & Connections

Look for any loose, frayed, or damaged wiring. If you are unsure, avoid tampering with electrical components and seek professional assistance.

Consult the User Manual

Your Fujitsu manual may have specific troubleshooting steps tailored to your model.
